A competition scoring system

The HG Wells `Funny Little War’ Centenary Competition will be played over three rounds.

Round 1 will be the classic battle of `Hook’s Farm’

Rounds 2 & 3 will be scenarios taken from `Manoeuvres’ in the year 1913 on the Continent.  As such, there could be a surprise or three…the FLW card deck will also be used in these rounds.

At the end of each Round the Umpire will provide a final score.  This will be comprised of:

•    Objective points – for locations taken and lost.  These will be identified in the scenario briefing before play begins

•    Game points – the balance of points won and lost by the player’s Army

The Competition winner will be the player with most points.

Each figure will be worth the amount of points that he costs in an Army list as per FLW.

Players are asked to nominate an Officer and Colour Bearer for each Regiment of Infantry and Cavalry deployed.  These points will not count in the final reckoning, but will be used in melee/morale for the game.
